A mobile bookshop for GI

During Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art Aye-Aye Books is taking to the road in a VW Westfalia high-top camper van, to set up shop at many events and exhibitions during the festival.
The mobile bookshop will stock publications by and about participating artists, and relating to themes and ideas around the festival. It will be present at GI venues large and small, for openings and events, and during general opening hours, at each stop presenting a bespoke selection of books, and journals.
The bookshop will evolve throughout the course of GI in response to the needs and requests of audience, artists and venues. It will a place of exchange – artists visiting Glasgow might have their own publications, which will be incorporated into our travelling stock.
Aye-Aye MoBo is a peripatetic work-in-progress, taking books where no bookshop has gone before.
